It is a matter of great honour for all of us to have the first Mathematical society of Himachal Pradesh that will provide a platform for Mathematical interaction for all the students and teachers of Himachal Pradesh with background in Mathematics. The students, who have great regard, knowledge and passion for Mathematics have given this opportunity under the Himachal Ganita Parishad to enhance their knowledge in the subject of Mathematics.
The Vision of Himachal Ganita Parishad
- To organize programmes in mathematics of national and international level for extending the knowledge of basic mathematics among the students of the villages as well as far flung areas.
- To work for poor, needy and rural areas students in the subject of mathematics.
To arrange functions/ seminars/ lectures/ workshops/ conferences on mathematics and its allied fields like Vedic mathematics, statistics, computing, astrology, astronomy, accounts, finance, science & engineering, computer sciences etc. and personality development camps/ national integration camps etc. in order to stretch the scope in the subject of mathematics.
